Day 5: Alaska 2024 GNSS-A Deployment- Good morning from the North Pacific Ocean!

It has been a calm morning for the Watch 2 group today, we are still in transit to the next site near Unimak Island. We saw a beautiful morning from the deck on one side, and the moon from the other.

High-speed recording of the sunrise from the deck.

The moon was still on the horizon on the other side.

Some of our crew also got to see some Sea sparkles:

In the meantime, our group has taken advantage of the time and used the leisure time to do some individual research and plan our work path for the coming days.  The crew took the opportunity to do other important activities, such as doing some laundry, taking proper time in the gym, or even a well-deserved rest.

Laundry room at the ship.

Taking some inspiration from Terminator himself.

It is a good day in the middle of the North Pacific Ocean!
