Day 10: Alaska 2024 GNSS-A Deployment - See you Transponders!

Today we put all the transponders undersea, it is the last day we deploy these transponders. After that, we will return back to Seward and make a nice end to the beautiful journey.

We have new coordinates for site UNA1, we will deploy transponders in the new site. Because the original site is not on the flat seafloor so we use the bathymetry map to choose a new coordinate for UNA1.

When all the transponders deployment finished, we all came to the deck to celebrate that. After all the work, we got a nice photo for all the scientific members, we did a nice job! Thanks all PIs', engineers' and students' passion and contribution, and great thanks for all the crew members finishing all the deployment perfectly!
